Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Gambino's theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Behavioral Therapy. He focuses on building rapport with the child/individual. After a trusting relationship is established, Dr. Gambino will begin to integrate the child's parent(s)/guardian(s) as necessary. When creating treatment goals, Dr. Gambino takes into consideration the ideas of the child and parent(s)/guardian(s).

Work Experience
Dr. Gambino has worked in school districts that include Piscataway, Newark, Princeton, Fair Haven, Middletown, Morristown, Green Brook, Watchung, and Franklin. Dr. Gambino has served roles that include Behaviorist, School Psychologist, Play Therapist, and Therapist. Dr. Gambino also has experience working as a member of a Child Study Team, writing IEPs, providing consultation to teachers, and leading workshops on various mental health topics.
Sports Career
Dr. Gambino had the opportunity to play baseball and basketball in high school. While in high school Dr. Gambino won multiple individual awards and helped his basketball team win the Somerset County Championship. Dr. Gambino was recruited to play basketball for Kean University where he played for two years.
